                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 82ND LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 25, 2011      TO: Honorable Tommy Williams, Chair, Senate Committee on Transportation & Homeland Security      FROM: John S O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB1145 by Shapiro (relating to certain comprehensive development agreements of the Texas Department of Transportation.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Transportation Code to authorize the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to enter into a comprehensive development agreement relating to managed lane improvements to a section State Highway 183.  Based on the information and analysis provided by TxDOT, it is assumed that any costs or duties associated with implementing the proposed CDA would be accommodated within existing resources and through the allocation of the agency's existing highway planning and construction appropriations.
