The bill would amend the Property Code relating to certain procedures, powers, and operations of property owners' associations which are not units of local governments; however, certain provisions grant courts specific authority in legal proceedings. The bill would be effective January 1, 2012. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
