Kolkhorst, Chair, House Committee on Public Health      FROM: John S O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB1424 by Wentworth (Relating to the issuance of cease and desist orders by the Texas Medical Board.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the issuance of cease and desist orders by the Texas Medical Board.  Based on the analysis of the Texas Medical Board, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
