                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 82ND LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            April 18, 2011      TO: Honorable Jane Nelson, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services      FROM: John S O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB1438 by Van de Putte (Relating to the program for impaired pharmacists and disciplinary proceedings conducted by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the program for impaired pharmacists and disciplinary proceedings to be conducted by the Board of Pharmacy. Based on the analysis of the Board of Pharmacy, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
