It would authorize the Texas Medical Board to take disciplinary action against a physician who violates Chapter 171, Health and Safety Code; the board may refuse to admit to examination or refuse to issue a license or renewal license to a person who violates the chapter. It is assumed that any cost to implement the provisions of the bill would be minimal and could be absorbed within available resources.
