The bill would require each community college district to offer at least one academic associate degree program designed to transfer all its course credit to a baccalaureate degree program at a general academic teaching institution. Local Government Impact The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board did not note any costs to local community college districts. Presumably, the fiscal implications of the bill would depend on each local community college district's costs (if any) of implementing the requirements of this bill.
