                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 82ND LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            February 28, 2011      TO: Honorable Jane Nelson, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services      FROM: John S O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB191 by Nelson (Relating to disposition of a contested case by the Texas Medical Board.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to disposition of a contested case by the Texas Medical Board.  Based on the analysis of the Texas Medical Board and the State Office of Administrative Hearings, it is assumed duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
