                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 82ND LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 18, 2011      TO: Honorable Jeff Wentworth, Chair, Senate Committee on Open Government, Select      FROM: John S O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB1923 by Wentworth (Relating to providing that certain travel vouchers submitted by peace officers assigned to a protective detail are confidential.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Government Code to indicate certain travel vouchers for certain peace officers are confidential and may not be disclosed under Chapter 552, Government Code. The bill would take effect immediately upon a two-thirds vote of all the members in each house. Otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2011. No significant fiscal impact to the state is anticipated.  Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
