The bill would amend the Water Code to permit a district to require a well be permitted and comply with all district rules even if the well is exempted for certain purposes and is within a management zone in locations as specified by the provisions of the bill. Local Government Impact According to the Live Oak Underground Water Conservation District, the Bee Groundwater Conservation District, and the Edwards Aquifer Authority, the provisions of the bill are not anticipated to have a fiscal impact.
