Local Government Impact School districts would incur costs associated with obtaining an alcohol awareness program for use in the middle school and high school science curriculum. Costs would vary depending on the program selected. Costs for an appropriate alcohol awareness program are estimated to range from approximately $32 to $495 per student. Additionally, costs for grade level curricula range from approximately $391 to $2,340 per grade level. School districts would also incur costs associated with teacher training to implement the provisions of the bill.
