The bill would amend the Transportation Code to decrease the administrative fee charged by a toll authority to recover the cost of collecting an unpaid toll from $100 to $50. According to the Texas Department of Transportation, there would be no fiscal impact associated with the provisions of the bill. Local Government Impact According to the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA), there would be a revenue loss of $560,000 annually; however, it is not anticipated to be a significant fiscal impact. The Grayson County Regional Mobility Authority and the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority reported there would be no fiscal impact associated with the provisions of the bill.
