The bill would define and make provisions for the interconnection of distributed natural gas facilities. The bill would also make provisions for distributed natural gas facilities to sell power to an electric utility, electric cooperative or a retail electric provider. Based on the analysis of the Public Utility Commission, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
