The bill would repeal Section 135.02 (c) of the Education Code. Section c allows the Board of the Texas State Technical College System to accept or acquire by purchase land and facilities in Cameron, Potter, Harrison, or Nolan counties subject to the approval of the governor. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
