The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the dispensing of certain drugs by physicians. Based on the analysis of the Texas State Board of Pharmacy and the Texas Medical Board it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
