                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 82ND LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 23, 2011      TO: Honorable David Dewhurst, Lieutenant Governor, Senate      FROM: John S O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:SB563 by Jackson (Relating to information regarding job matching services provided by the Texas Workforce Commission; providing a criminal penalty.), As Passed 2nd House    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to information regarding job matching services provided by the Texas Workforce Commission; providing a criminal penalty. The bill would require the Texas Workforce Commission to establish an efficiency pilot program. Based on the analysis of the Texas Workforce Commission, it is assumed that any duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
