This bill would amend the Property Code and expand the jurisdiction of a statutory probate court of Travis County to include concurrent jurisdiction in a proceeding brought by the Office of the Attorney General alleging breach of a fiduciary duty with respect to a charitable trust created by a will that has been admitted to probate. It is anticipated that any additional costs associated with implementation of the legislation could be absorbed within existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
