The bill would amend the Family Code and allow the termination of a child support order based on the results of genetic testing that excludes the obligor as the childs genetic father. The bill would result in revision of policies and procedures within the child support program at the Office of the Attorney General. It is anticipated that any additional costs associated with implementation of the legislation could be absorbed within existing resources.
