The bill would extend the authority to school districts to issue high school diplomas to military veterans of the United States armed forces who did not graduate high school and who meet certain criteria to include those who have served in conflicts since 1989 as defined by the provisions of the bill. Local Government Impact School districts' authority to issue high school diplomas to military veterans of the United States armed forces who did not graduate high school and who meet certain criteria would be extended to include those who have served in conflicts since 1989 as defined by the provisions of the bill.
