SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1132
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Harvey and Tim Hull for their many achievements as
makers of premier, hand-crafted Texas knives; and
WHEREAS, A father-and-son team of lifelong outdoorsmen,
Harvey and Tim Hull have long had a deep appreciation for the
utility and worth of a well-made knife; they resolved to create
their own versions of the knives they used and remembered from
the days spent hunting and fishing in their youths; and
WHEREAS, They use only the highest-grade materials to
create their heirloom-quality knives; from the high-quality
steel for the blades to the stabilized woods, bone, and horn used
for the handles to the hand-stitched sheaths, quality of fit and
finish are given the utmost care; and
WHEREAS, Whether for everyday use or for display as a
treasured keepsake, Tim and Harvey Hull's knives are made with
meticulous attention to detail; these fine artisans are truly
deserving of recognition for their many accomplishments in this
demanding craft; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
Legislature, hereby commend Harvey and Tim Hull on their artistry
and craftsmanship in fashioning quality knives for all uses and
extend to them best wishes for continued success in all their
future endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
them as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
