SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 1236 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Fort Worth Commercial Real Estate Women, Incorporated, for its commitment to providing professional development and community service opportunities for its members; and WHEREAS, Founded in 1985, and affiliated with the national CREW Network, Fort Worth Commercial Real Estate Women, Incorporated, provides exceptional guidance and offers its members opportunities for networking, education, leadership development, and civic and philanthropic involvement; and WHEREAS, As part of its 25th anniversary celebration in 2010, the organization created a Legacy of Leadership Lone Star Award and a formal Legacy of Leadership Mentoring Committee; and WHEREAS, This outstanding organization has also planned and executed events to benefit charitable groups like the Women's Center of Tarrant County, various educational institutions, and individual cancer victims; and WHEREAS, In 2011, the organization established Fort Worth CREW Charities, Incorporated, as a separate arm of the organization to better coordinate its philanthropic work on behalf of the community; and WHEREAS, Fort Worth Commerical Real Estate Women, Incorporated, is an exemplary organization and has had a profound impact both in the professional lives of its members and in the community they serve; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd Legislature, hereby commend Fort Worth Commercial Real Estate Women, Incorporated, on its leadership in the industry and its legacy of service and extend to its members best wishes for continued success; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for this outstanding organization as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
