SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 378
WHEREAS, The 90th birthday of an esteemed Texan is truly
cause for celebration, and Matilda Branham of San Angelo is
observing this noteworthy milestone in her life on March 10,
2011; and
WHEREAS, A resident of San Angelo for more than 75 years,
Tillie Branham is the proud matriarch of a family that includes
three children, four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren;
and
WHEREAS, Tillie Branham is an inspiration to all who are
privileged to know her, and it is indeed a pleasure to join with
her relatives and friends in recognizing her 90 years of life
well lived; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
Legislature, hereby honor Matilda Branham on the occasion of her
90th birthday and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be
prepared for Mrs. Branham as an expression of high regard from
the Texas Senate.
