SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 68
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is happy to offer
congratulations to Jatoi Jones Johnson and Kalamu Ryo Johnson on
the birth of their beautiful daughter, Kailah Ryonne Johnson; and
WHEREAS, Kailah was born January 6, 2011, in Houston; the
birth of a baby is one of the most cherished events in the life of
a couple; now that the long-anticipated event has occurred, Jatoi
and Kalamu are enjoying feelings of pride and joy; and
WHEREAS, The baby girl arrived at 12:00 p.m. and weighed
four pounds five ounces at birth; she was 18 inches long; in
addition to her parents, her family includes her brother, Jaydon
Dakarai Johnson, and her grandparents, Jessie and Debra Jones and
Henry and Shelia Johnson; and
WHEREAS, Friends and relatives of the family received the
exciting news with expressions of love and shared delight; and
WHEREAS, It is truly fitting that the Texas Senate welcome
Kailah as a treasured new citizen of the State of Texas; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
Legislature, hereby extend congratulations to Jatoi and Kalamu
Johnson and warm greetings to Kailah Ryonne Johnson with best
wishes for much future happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
the family as an expression of regard from the Texas Senate.
