SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 775 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Scott Snow, who is retiring after 10 years of exemplary service on the board of trustees of the Mansfield Independent School District; and WHEREAS, A veteran of 32 years in the aircraft industry, Mr. Snow has served the Mansfield Independent School District board of trustees as the Place 7 representative since February of 2010; he previously served as the Place 5 representative; and WHEREAS, Over the course of his tenure as a trustee, he has worked on numerous committees, and he served as the board's president from 1996 through 1998; talented and resourceful, he has handled his many responsibilities with exceptional efficiency and dedication; and WHEREAS, He is active in community affairs and has served as president of the T. A. Howard Middle School Parent-Teacher Association; he is a deacon at Woodland West Church of Christ in Arlington; and WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, he is respected and admired by his colleagues, and his presence on the Mansfield Independent School District board of trustees will be greatly missed; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd Legislature, hereby commend Scott Snow on his exceptional service on the Mansfield Independent School District board of trustees and extend to him best wishes for continued success in all his future endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
