                    SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 829
 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
 recognize Sherry Traynor, who is retiring after 32 years of
 outstanding service with the Office of the Comptroller of Public
 Accounts; and
 WHEREAS, Sherry Traynor joined the comptroller's office in
 1979 as a member of the Out of State Audit Division and has gone
 on to hold numerous important positions in various divisions,
 notably the Information Technology Division, where her work as a
 team leader played an important role in the development and
 implementation of the Integrated Tax System; and
 WHEREAS, Throughout her career, she has been noted for her
 exceptional ability to work with business clients and deliver
 solutions to meet their requirements; and
 WHEREAS, Talented and resourceful, she has handled her
 many responsibilities with efficiency and dedication; her skill
 at bringing difficult projects under control and her ability to
 make ongoing decisions regarding critical issues have made her an
 invaluable part of this vital agency; and
 WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, she is respected and
 admired by her colleagues, and her presence at the Office of the
 Comptroller of Public Accounts will be greatly missed; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
 Legislature, hereby commend Sherry Traynor on her exceptional
 service to the people of Texas as an employee of the Office of the
 Comptroller of Public Accounts and extend to her best wishes for
 the retirement years ahead; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
