 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal
 milestones, and Kelly Anne Sullivan participated in that joyful
 occasion in 2010 when she was among the first graduating class at
 Kingwood Park High School in Humble; and
 WHEREAS, Earning her diploma required hard work and
 dedication, and Ms. Sullivan can reflect with pride on the
 perseverance she has demonstrated in pursuit of her goals; a member
 of the National Honor Society, she was also on her FFA chapter's
 leadership and livestock teams, receiving the Greenhand Award and
 Lone Star Degree and holding the office of sentinel, and she played
 varsity softball for three years and lettered in the sport; and
 WHEREAS, She is a member of St. Martha Catholic Church in
 Kingwood and is the recipient of four mother/daughter awards from
 the Kings Trails Chapter of the National Charity League; and
 WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Danny and Geralyn
 Sullivan, Ms. Sullivan is continuing her education at Texas Tech
 University, where she is majoring in hotel and restaurant
 management; she hopes to study abroad and to one day open her own
 restaurant; and
 WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
 outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join her family and
 friends in recognizing her for her achievements; now, therefore, be
 it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
 Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Kelly Anne
 Sullivan on her graduation from Kingwood Park High School and
 extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success and
 happiness; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Ms. Sullivan as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
