H.R. No. 229
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned five
decades, Alfred and Bernice Vrazel of Buckholts celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary on June 24, 2011; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Vrazel exchanged the vows of matrimony
in 1961 at a ceremony held at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic
Church in Marak, where they will renew their vows on July 10; and
WHEREAS, Over the course of their marriage, they have found
in each other a devoted life partner, and today they count among
their blessings a treasured family that includes their daughter,
Cynthia Ann Strmiska, and two grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica
Strmiska, with whom they treasure sharing the many special
occasions of life; and
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past half-century, Mr. and
Mrs. Vrazel can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and know
that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that many
more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Alfred and
Bernice Vrazel on their golden wedding anniversary and extend to
them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Vrazel as an expression of high regard by
the Texas House of Representatives.
