H.R. No. 279 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, The family and friends of U.S. Army Private Andrew Mark Krippner of Garland suffered an immeasurable loss with the death of this beloved young man on May 23, 2011, at the age of 20; and WHEREAS, Assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Private Krippner was killed while bravely serving his country in Kunar Province, Afghanistan; and WHEREAS, Born April 22, 1991, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, Andrew Krippner was the son of Kenneth and Pamela Krippner; he graduated from June Shelton High School and enlisted in the army; and WHEREAS, Exemplifying the highest ideals of the U.S. armed forces, Andrew Krippner inspired others with his leadership and service, and those who were fortunate enough to know him will always remember his wonderful sense of humor and will forever carry his memory close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of U.S. Army Private Andrew Mark Krippner and extend deepest sympathy to all those who mourn his passing; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Private Andrew Mark Krippner.
