The bill would establish a Texas Congressional Redistricting Commission and delegate the legislature's congressional redistricting powers to that body. The bill would require the Council to provide technical staff and clerical services to the commission.  However it is anticipated that any additional resources necessary to implement the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.   Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
