SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 46
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the
citizens of Sugar Land in congratulating Parth Bhateja of Boy
Scout Troop 1631, who recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout;
and
WHEREAS, This outstanding young man has brought honor to
himself, his family, his troop, his community, and his state in
earning the coveted Eagle Badge; and
WHEREAS, Parth completed a service project that required
him to exercise his leadership abilities and at the same time
benefit his community; and
WHEREAS, Few are privileged to be named among the ranks of
the elite corps of Eagle Scouts; only five out of every 100 Boy
Scouts earn this distinguished honor; and
WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
promise, Parth advanced from Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star,
and Life classes to Eagle Scout; he is truly an exemplary citizen
of the State of Texas; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 82nd
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Parth
Bhateja on attaining the rank of Eagle Scout and commend him on
this great achievement; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
Eagle Scout Bhateja as an expression of esteem from the Texas
Senate.
