The bill would amend the Election Code to require election officers to provide poll watchers with a form of identification, as prescribed by the Secretary of State (SOS), to be displayed during the watchers hours of service at the polling place. SOS indicated that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within the agencys existing resources. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
