The bill would add Section 252.314 to the Transportation Code to authorize a commissioners court or the county road department to accept donations of labor, money, or other property to aid in the building or maintaining of roads in the county. Under Section 252.109, a commissioners court or the road commissioners may accept donations of labor, money, or other property to aid in building or maintaining roads in the county.
