                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 83RD LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 10, 2013      TO: Honorable Linda Harper-brown, Chair, House Committee On Government Efficiency & Reform      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1390 by Harper-Brown (Relating to the electronic submission of a request for an attorney general opinion.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Government Code to allow the electronic submission of a request for an Attorney General Opinion. The bill could increase revenue at the Office of the Attorney General due to the authority of the agency to collect fees for the electronic filing of documents.  However, it is anticipated that any additional revenue associated with implementation of the bill would not be significant.
