The bill would establish a committee in Bexar County to recommend a uniform truancy policy.  Local Government Impact There could be some administrative costs to school districts located in Bexar County to adopt new uniform truancy procedures according to committee recommendations. However, compliance with the committee's recommendations would be optional. No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
