The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require a public transportation provider that provides services designed for people with disabilities to provide written certification to an eligible individual that resides in the area that requests to use the provider's services. Proof of certification would entitle the individual to obtain services from any provider throughout the state. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
