                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 83RD LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 18, 2013      TO: Honorable Wayne Smith, Chair, House Committee On Licensing & Administrative Procedures      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB1763 by Smith (Relating to the sale of malt liquor, ale, and beer by the holder of a brewpub license.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill amends the Alcoholic Beverage Code relating to the sale and production of malt liquor, ale, and beer by brewpub license holders. It is assumed that the estimated increase in revenue would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the State. The bill would take effect immediately upon enactment, assuming that it received the requisite two-thirds majority votes in both houses of the Legislature. Otherwise, it would take effect September 1, 2013.  Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
