The bill would amend the Labor Code to add the requirement that an unemployed individual be actively seeking work to be eligible for unemployment compensation benefits.   Based on information provided by the Texas Workforce Commission, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities necessary to implement the provisions of the bill could be accomplished within existing resources.
