The bill would amend the Election Code to require the Secretary of State to compile data derived from voter registration information reported by the Election Assistance Commission to Congress and post it on the Secretary of States Internet website, in a searchable format, by county. The Secretary of State indicates the provisions of the bill could be implemented within existing resources. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2013.
