                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 83RD LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            March 25, 2013      TO: Honorable Richard Peña Raymond, Chair, House Committee on Human Services      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2276 by Crownover (Relating to notice of residential services available for persons with intellectual disabilities.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would require the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) to provide each person inquiring about residential services for persons with intellectual disabilities with a pamphlet or similar information about state supported living centers and the availability of services at the center nearest to the person. DADS indicates any cost to implement provisions of the bill are minimal and may be absorbed within existing resources.
