The bill would require the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) to provide each person inquiring about residential services for persons with intellectual disabilities with a pamphlet or similar information about state supported living centers and the availability of services at the center nearest to the person. DADS indicates any cost to implement provisions of the bill are minimal and may be absorbed within existing resources.
