The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to an exemption from air conditioning and refrigeration contracting regulation for installation of a thermostat. Based on information provided by the Department of Licensing and Regulation, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
