The bill would exempt a student from being included in the evaluation of a school district or campus's performance on student achievement indicators if the student's performance would lower a performance rating and the student has been enrolled in a school in the United States for three years or less and is a student of limited English proficiency. This analysis assumes that any additional costs could be absorbed within existing resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
