The bill would require the periodic review and revision of college readiness standards and recommend revisions for approval by the Commissioner of Education and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB).  Based on the analysis of the Texas Education Agency and THECB, costs to implement the provisions of the bill are not anticipated to be significant.  Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
