The Secretary of State indicates that a cost of $395,000 in fiscal year 2014 and $84,000 each additional fiscal year out of General Revenue Funds would be required to implement the provisions of the bill. This bill would take effect on September 1, 2013. Methodology The Secretary of State estimates the cost of implementing and providing the program based on a similar program that was developed in 2006 for online poll worker training. Costs of $395,000 in fiscal year 2014 are for design, development, licensing, hosting, and maintenance of the program. The annual cost each additional fiscal year is for licensing, hosting, and maintenance of the program. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
