                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 83RD LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 23, 2013      TO: Honorable Joe Straus, Speaker of the House, House of Representatives      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2733 by White (Relating to the administration and operation of the Texas Juvenile Justice Department.), As Passed 2nd House    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Government Code and the Human Resources Code relating to the operations of the Juvenile Justice Department. The Juvenile Justice Department, the Office of the Attorney General, and the Department of Public Safety have determined that the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the State. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2013. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
