                    LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD    Austin, Texas      FISCAL NOTE, 83RD LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION            May 14, 2013      TO: Honorable John Carona, Chair, Senate Committee on Business & Commerce      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2806 by Geren (Relating to delinquent payment of an alcoholic beverage retailer's account for liquor.), As Engrossed    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code relating to delinquent payment of an alcoholic beverage retailer's account for liquor. The Act would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If the Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, the Act would take effect September 1, 2013.
