The bill would amend the Family Code, the Human Resources Code, and the Code of Criminal Procedures relating to procedures related to juvenile cases. It is assumed that implementing the provisions of the bill can be absorbed within the existing resources of the affected agencies. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2013. Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
