The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the regulation of real estate inspectors.  Based on information provided by the Department of Public Safety, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. The fiscal impact that may be generated in association with implementing the provisions of the bill for the Real Estate Commission is not considered in this analysis because any fiscal impact for the agency would be realized outside the Treasury due to the agency being Self-Directed and Semi-Independent. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
