Dutton, Jr., Chair, House Committee on Urban Affairs      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2924 by Sheets (Relating to military leave time accounts for police and fire departments.), As Introduced    No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Local Government Code to reduce the time served on active duty from 12 continuous months to three continuous months in which a military leave time account would benefit a fire or police officer; and would not require the leave balance to be exhausted.
