Smithee, Chair, House Committee on Insurance      FROM: Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board     IN RE:HB2925 by Sheets (Relating to alternative dispute resolution of certain insurance payment disputes with chiropractors.), As Introduced    No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to alternative dispute resolution of certain insurance payment disputes with chiropractors. Based on information provided by the Texas Department of Insurance, University of Texas System Administration, Texas A&M University System Administration and Board of Chiropractic Examiners, it is assumed that any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill can be accomplished utilizing existing staff and resources. Local Government Impact No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
