The bill would amend the Local Government Code to require certain water districts that do not provide water and sanitary sewer utility service to pay a municipality or a governmental agency that provides such services to households within the district; and would specify payment requirements. Local Government Impact There could be costs to a water district that does not currently provide services to households that would be required to pay a municipality or a governmental agency for providing services; however, the amounts would vary depending on the number of applicable water districts, the number of households that would need services, and the costs of the services provided.
